Lesson 105

When I was first dating my Scorpio, his Sagittarius Moon gave him the happy-go-lucky outlook on life while his Sun sign made him distrustful enough not to admit when he was sick or feeling bad. Basically I was dating superman…working all the time, never sick, never tired, no frustrations, etc. This use to bother me some because I knew he was keeping how he really felt away from me for whatever reasons. I think he wanted me to view him as this strong, masculine, hard-working, virile man while my Pisces nature just knew (and wanted to care for) his weak, tired, sick side.

Now things have changed :/

He’s become this gentle, loving, still quiet, open, whiny, complaining being who can’t cough now without letting me know about it. At first it was cute. He’d say how he wasn’t feeling good and I’d automatically jump into nurse-mode. I’d make him get in the bed and rest. I’d bring him hot soup, teas and medicine. I’d lay next to him offering body warmth and it never really occurred to me that he was never too sick for sex, which is what laying nude next to him would cause. I even bathed him once, when he claimed he was too sick to lift his hands (that was the time I really wifed up and even held his manhood when he had to use the bathroom. Eck!). I was happy that my man needed me until I saw something just the other day that made me take a big pause…

The Beast had come home from work complaining of a sore back and sore muscles in his thighs. He asked if he could have a massage and then starting coughing. I asked him if he was okay and he said yeah and that he may have been coming down with a cold. I immediately sprang into action making sure Mini Beast was okay as he slept, stripping and re-bedding our bed with extra blankets, helping him undress and get in the shower, warming and putting his dinner on a plate, helping him out the shower, drying him off and getting him under the covers, serving his food, putting his plate away, rubbing Vicks on his chest, flipping him over and giving him a full body massage and then having sex, which he initiated when he turned back around, claiming he was okay enough to do it. I was tired but wanted to please my man and besides…he wasn’t feeling well. The next morning I call in to his job after he half-heartedly argues with me that he needs to go in. Again, I go into wife mode and let his boss know that my man was sick and would not be in and if there was any problems, I’d handle it. He rests all day with me making sure he and Mini Beast is alright and us having sex whenever MB napped. Then that evening his friend the Capricorn stops by (whom I’ll call Goat) and they sit in our bedroom on the floor and play X-box 360, which Beast feels well enough to do. I’m making dinner when I hear…

“Damn dawg! Is it really like that? I could have swore I called her first!”

I pause and wonder what I’m hearing when my husband says…

“She’s my wife now playa. Dude, I’m telling you she knows how to care for her man…”

At this point the rest of the conversation is muffled by the television and video game sounds and I’m thinking to myself, this motherfucking, lying, son of a biscuit. I’m trying to get Mini Beast to stop from doing that…acting like he’s hurt or sick for some attention and affection…when his grown ass father is doing the very same thing and my dumb, gullible ass keeps falling for it.

I have yet to let him know I’m on to him but believe me, when I do…he’s in big trouble. I knew he was manipulative (since game recognize game) but I don’t take kindly to lying and I’m thinking he’s really ill because of how often and long he stays sick. Jackass. Well I want to see what he has to say for himself once I bust him and I’m just going to have to make sure I don’t cave in and continue to pamper him.

I do know he was right…he has it damn good.
